Organometallic Standards

Organometallic standards are essential for accurate calibration of petrochemical applications performed with both XRF and ICP. These standards ensure precise measurement of key additive and trace elements, enabling reliable quality control and compliance with industry regulations. We offer high-purity, single-element concentrates with long-term stability, specifically designed for blending control and elemental analysis applications.

Product overview

XRS-standards

The calibration of an XRF spectrometer for blending control applications requires high concentrated single element standards. Most of the commercial available organometallic standards have a concentration of 5000 ppm and often contain another non-certified major element (i.e. Sulphur). We can offer high concentrated single element concentrates of all important additive elements that contain nearly no trace elements. These concentrates are stable for several years (the test period covers 4 years) and are miscible with each other.

Conostand & LGC standards

For petrochemical XRF calibrations, single-element organometallic standards of 5000 ppm can be used for the calibration of wear and trace elements. We can offer single-element standards from Conostan of all elements that are important in the petrochemical field, and this in concentrations of 1000 and 5000 ppm. As most of the Conostan standards are prepared starting from metal sulfonates, they also contain Sulfur as major element. For XRF-applications, the concentration of all elements is important, therefore we can provide you of the estimate sulfur content for all Conostan single element standards. For applications where sulfur free standards are required we can offer you 1000 and 5000 ppm standards from LGC.
