Sulphur in petrochemical products

Ensuring low sulfur content in automotive fuels is essential for environmental protection and regulatory compliance. High sulfur levels contribute to air pollution and acid rain, leading to strict limits under regulations like Euro 6 and EPA Tier 3. Compliance with these standards helps reduce harmful emissions and improve fuel quality.

Sulfur also affects vehicle performance by poisoning catalytic converters and causing engine corrosion and deposits, leading to reduced efficiency and higher maintenance costs. XRF spectrometry provides a fast and reliable method for sulfur analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal fuel quality.

We provide standards for both WD- and ED-XRF spectrometers, compliant with the norms discribed below.

Duplicate measurements

All standards up to 100 ppm of sulphur are supplied in 100 ml volumes, allowing for duplicate measurements during calibration.

Different concentration ranges

Some norms include low, medium, and high concentration ranges. You can order a specific range or the complete set. Article numbers are listed in the table.
